Every download you make inside TikTok carries a watermark: a moving username that follows the video around. It is fine for sharing inside the app, but it gets in the way when you want to keep a clip, use it in a project, or send it to someone who is not on TikTok.
The OneTok web tool asks TikTok for the same post and returns the clean file when TikTok makes one available. You paste a link, pick a file, and save it. Nothing is installed and nothing is stored.
Paste a TikTok link
OneTok opens in your browser. Public videos and photo posts, no account needed.
Open the TikTok downloader →The short version
- Copy the link. Open the video in TikTok, tap Share, then Copy link.
- Paste it into OneTok. Open the OneTok web tool and drop the link in the box.
- Save the file. Hit Get media, then download the clean video to your device.
That is the whole flow. The rest of this guide covers each device, photo posts, and what to do when a link does not work.
On iPhone and iPad
- Open the video in the TikTok app and tap Share.
- Choose Copy link.
- Open the OneTok tool in Safari and paste the link into the box.
- Tap Get media, then Download video.
- Safari saves the file to the Files app, usually under Downloads. Open it there and tap Share → Save to Photos if you want it in your camera roll.
If you download TikTok clips often, the free OneTok app for iPhone saves straight to Photos and keeps a history of what you saved.
On Android
- In TikTok, tap Share, then Copy link.
- Open Chrome and go to the OneTok tool.
- Paste the link, tap Get media, then download.
- The file lands in Downloads. Most gallery apps index it automatically; if not, open it from your file manager.
On Mac or Windows
No software is needed. Open the OneTok tool in any browser, paste the link and download. The file goes to your usual Downloads folder, ready to import into a video editor or move anywhere else.
TikTok photo posts and slideshows
Photo posts work the same way. Paste the post link and OneTok returns each image separately. If the post has several photos, use Download all to save them in one go. The images are the ones TikTok publishes, not screenshots, so you keep the original resolution.
When the watermark is still there
OneTok returns a clean file whenever TikTok exposes one. A small number of posts — usually older uploads or content with unusual rights settings — only exist in watermarked form. In that case the tool gives you the best file available rather than failing.
Why a link might fail
- Private or deleted posts. They cannot be read without an account, so they are not supported.
- Region-locked videos. TikTok may refuse to serve the post from our servers.
- Profile links. A link to a profile does not point to a single post. Open the video first, then copy its link.
- Rate limits. TikTok occasionally slows down server requests. Wait a minute and try again.
Is this allowed?
Downloading your own videos, or videos you have permission to use, is fine. Re-uploading someone else's work without credit or permission is not — and it is the fastest way to lose an account. Keep the creator's handle when you share, and follow TikTok's terms.
Save your first video
Copy the link, paste it in, download the clean file. It takes about ten seconds.
