Questions

Which Facebook links can I download?

Public videos, Reels, Watch links, story and permalink posts, short fb.watch or share links, and some public photo posts. Links to a profile or page on their own aren't supported because there is no single post to save.

Is OneFb free?

Yes. The web tool is free and needs no account. There is no app install and no sign-in.

What quality do I get?

We return the best file Facebook publishes. Videos are usually HD, and photos, when available, are saved at the resolution in the post. Some older or live videos only have a standard-quality file.

Can I download Facebook photos?

Sometimes. Facebook often asks for a login on photo-only posts, so the tool can only save photos that are publicly exposed. Videos, Reels and Watch links are the most reliable.

Why did my link fail?

Private, friends-only, group and deleted posts can't be read without an account, so they aren't supported. Facebook also rate-limits servers occasionally — wait a minute and try again.

Do you store the media I download?

No. Files are streamed through the server to your browser and are not saved. Post lookups are cached for 15 minutes so repeat searches are fast.
