Ready to roll
Press Roll die or tap the dice itself. The face is decided before the dice starts tumbling.
The dice settles on a 1 to 6, and the result is announced for screen readers too.
Every face has a counter, so you can see whether the sixes are really avoiding you.
Playing something bigger? OneRoll on the App Store rolls d4 to d20.
Yes. Each roll asks the browser for a random value from its cryptographic random number generator, and values outside an even range are discarded so all six faces have exactly the same chance. Previous rolls have no effect on the next one.
The web tool rolls a standard six-sided dice. The free OneRoll iPhone app supports d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 and d20, and can roll several dice at once — useful for D&D and Yahtzee.
No. The per-face counters live in the page while it is open, so a reload starts fresh. Nothing is stored on your device or sent to a server.
The pips make it feel like a real dice, and the number underneath is what gets announced to screen readers, so the result is never visual-only.
The web dice roller is free and needs no account. The OneRoll iPhone app is also free on the App Store and adds more dice types, multiple dice and 3D physics.
Not on this page — each roll is a single six-sided dice. Roll a few times and the tally will show you the spread, or use the OneRoll app for multi-dice rolls.
OneRoll is not affiliated with any game publisher. A virtual roll is as fair as a real one — the dice just doesn't go under the sofa.
